ENTRIES are now open for the National Junior Athletics Championships at the Coventry Athletics Stadium.
The event will take place on July 2 and July 3 and is organised by Activity Alliance.
There will be three sessions across the weekend, with one at 10:00am and 2pm on Saturday followed by a third session from 9:30am on Sunday.
The event will showcase the talents of young disabled athletes across the country.
There will be age categories for the under 12’s, 14’s, 16’s, 18’s, and 20’s, with each participant needing to be under the maximum age of the category by August 31.
There will be numerous events for young athletes to compete in, including races from 60 up to 1500 metres, grip ball throwing, the long jump, javelin and discus.
It will cost £35 to enter with entry fees needing to be submitted by June 17, but people should read the entry pack before signing up.
