Festive events on offer at Coventry venues throughout December

CHRISTMAS markets, creative workshops, panto performances and festive afternoon teas are among the seasonal activities on offer at venues in Coventry.

Paul McMahon, Managing Director at Destination Coventry, said: “Coventry’s venues have once again pulled out all the stops to create a wonderful festive programme for residents and visitors alike.

“From heartwarming shows to creative workshops and great food, there’s something to bring festive cheer to everyone this Christmas.”

The Belgrade Theatre stages its pantomime Sleeping Beauty until January 3, and will also be hosting a stage adaptation of Well Done, Mummy Penguin! for families and younger children from December 3 to January 3.




Coombe Abbey hosts a Festive Lunch with Santa in its Garden Room Restaurant, and Festive Afternoon Tea and Carols – both across multiple dates throughout December.

At St Mary’s Guildhall, families can enjoy Storytelling with Father Christmas, and Weston Hall will host a Gatsby-Glamour Christmas Evening with a three-course dinner and live swing band on December 20.


The Heart of England Conference and Events Centre hosts Santa’s Grotto and Magical Train Ride, running from December 6-24.

Festive dining and creative experiences continue throughout December, with the Manor Hotel bringing festive cheer with its Party with the Grinch on December 14, and the Draycote Hotel serving its Festive Afternoon Tea throughout December.

From December 6 to January 4, the Albany Theatre will stage a production of Beauty and the Beast, while shoppers can visit Warwick Art Centre’s Seasonal Makers Market on December 9 for a day of festive creativity and local crafts.

The Tiger Who Came to Tea Christmas 2025 runs at Warwick Arts Centre until December 28.

The BBC Concert Orchestra will perform Christmas at the Movies at Warwick Arts Centre on December 12 at 7.30pm, followed by Fargo Village’s Cov Sauce Christmas Disco on December 13 at 8pm.

The Windmill Hotel is running a Festive Menu throughout the season, and will also hold a New Year’s Eve Party Night.

Guests can also enjoy Christmas Dining and a Festive Menu at Hotel Indigo.
