Festive films for all the family at Hillfields drive-through cinema this weekend and next

THERE will be festive films for families when the drive-through cinema comes to Hillfields to screen some Christmas classics.

On Saturday, December 5, Home Alone will be screened at 10am with Home Alone 2 at 1pm.

On Sunday, December 5, Elf will be shown at 10am with Frozen at 1pm.

Then next weekend will start with Miracle on 34th Street – at 10am on Saturday, December 12, and The Muppets’ Christmas Carol – at 1pm.

And next Sunday, December 13, there will be Arthur Christmas at 10am and – fittingly – Nativity at 1pm.

The event will also feature a crime prevention workshop.

PC Tony Coy said: “It’s an opportunity for us to interact with the community, especially the younger families and try and do something positive for them.

“We ran something similar in October on the village square of Hillfields which was received very well.”

Places must be booked in advance because of Covid-19 regulations.

Bookings can be made by emailing PCSO Adam Bettison at a.bettison@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk or by texting 07391 019157.
