FIRE CREWS have been called to West Orchards Shopping Centre after a blaze broke out in the second floor storage area of Peacocks.

Two fire engines from Coventry stations were sent to the scene at 12.07pm.

On arrival the fire had been put out, though crews remain at the scene with ventilation fans to remove smoke from the building.

It is believed the fire was started by a faulty electrical fuse board.

More to follow.
