SIX fire crews are tackling a blaze in a disused office building on Bishop Street.
West Midlands Fire Service received a report of the blaze at 9.14am, with the first crew arriving within five minutes of being mobilised.
The fire was on the first floor causing heavy smoke logging.
Crews carried out a thorough search to ensure no-one was inside.
Resources at the scene were reduced to two fire engines around two and a half hours after crews received the report.
