WEST Midlands Fire Service said a bedroom fire in Coventry this morning (Monday, February 6) appears to have been started by cannabis-growing equipment.
Three fire engines responded to the fire at Stoney Stanton Road just after 9.15am, with the first arriving within three minutes of being mobilised.
The fire was in a first-floor bedroom of a terraced house, with crews from Coventry and Foleshill fire stations wearing breathing apparatus and using hose reels to extinguish the fire, which was out by 10.05am.
