Flag of St George flying high at Coventry Council House to wish Three Lions good luck

THE FLAG of St George is flying high outside Coventry City Council House this weekend to wish Gareth Southgate’s England team good luck ahead of Sunday’s European Championship final.

Coun George Duggins, Coventry City Council leader, said: “I know I speak for the city when I say we are all behind the team on Sunday.

“The England flag will be flying outside the Council House all weekend and we all wish the team the very best.

“I hope the team, and everyone in the city, has a great weekend – especially on Sunday – but make sure you do so safely.”
