Food delivery driver caught speeding in Coventry only had provisional licence

Coventry Editorial 13th Jan, 2021   0

A FOOD delivery driver had their vehicle seized after a police stop found they were on a provisional licence, unsupervised and with no L-plates.

Officers from Coventry North West Police who pulled over the Renault on Radford Road last night when it was seen speeding also discovered no business insurance policy was in place.

According to UK law, provisional driving licence holders must be accompanied by someone over the age of 21 who has held a full driving licence for at least three years.
