All four appeared at Coventry Magistrates Court and were remanded in custody to appear at Warwickshire Justice Centre on Tuesday 24 March.
Superintendent Chris Edwards, from Coventry Police, said: “I wanted to take the opportunity to thank our local communities for supporting this major investigation.
“I also want to make it clear that neither the suspects nor victims in this case are students in the city.
“This was an isolated incident with no links to our student community or any other live investigations, including missing people inquiries.”
Eighteen-year-old Daniel Kirkwood was stabbed to death outside Society nightclub in the early hours of Mother’s Day.
