OFFICERS have warned Westwood residents to be on their guard following a spate of crime in the area in recent days, including the theft of several vehicles.
Four motor vehicle thefts have been reported to police from Curriers Close, Cromwell Lane, Conway Avenue and Middlecotes.
All of these incidents are currently being investigated.
Police have also made an arrest after a burglary was reported on Gravel Hill.
Neighbourhood officers have been out patrolling with a Community Streetwatch group on Nailcote Avenue and nearby streets in recent days.
