DETECTIVES investigating the fatal stabbing of Pavandeep Daudher in Lockhurst Lane, Coventry, say they have arrested a fourth man on suspicion of murder.
A 29-year-old handed himself into police yesterday evening (April 14) and this morning remains in custody for questioning.
Pavandeep, aged 19, was found seriously injured at the BP garage in Lockhurst Lane at about 11pm on March 31. A post mortem revealed he died from a stab wound to his left thigh.
Ethan Lilley, aged 22, of Queen Isobels Avenue, Cheylesmore, was charged with murder earlier this month and remanded in custody to stand trial in September.
A third man, aged 33, arrested on suspicion of murder on 3 April and a 17-year-old who handed himself into police on 6 April have both been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
Detective Inspector Stuart Mobberley, from force CID, said: “Our thoughts remain with Pavandeep’s family, who are receiving specialist support at this difficult time and we are keeping them updated as the enquiry develops.
“However we would still urge anyone with information, and who has not spoken to us already, to get in touch as soon as possible.”
