COVENTRY’S LTB showrooms will be hosting a free festival celebrating ten years of production by Mono Media Films this weekend (January 21 and 22.)
The ‘A Modernist Eye: Pop/Art/Fashion’ film festival will feature unique, innovative documentaries on The Style Council, Northern Soul legend Nolan Porter, Pop artist Peter Blake and jazzman Tubby Hayes.
There will also be films detailing the lives and careers of menswear guru John Simons and Midlands soul band Stone Foundation.
And the festival will also feature a separate programme of music videos and short films featuring The Specials Neville Staple, Paul Weller, Stone Foundation and more.
The festival will start at midday on both days and will finish at 7pm tomorrow and 4pm on Sunday.
