FREE mixed ability rugby sessions will be coming to Coventry’s Butts Park Arena to allow youngsters with additional needs to take up the sport.
The sessions will be starting on March 1 and will hold rugby sessions for those aged between 14 and 21, with parents, guardians and carers able to join in.
The hour-long sessions will take place every Wednesday from 5pm with previous playing experience not required.
The touch-focussed sessions will be led and delivered by qualified community coaches.
A Coventry Rugby spokesperson said: “We believe every person should have the opportunity to play the sport we love and are passionate about creating chances for people of all abilities in a warm and welcoming environment.
“We look forward to welcoming plenty of people down to the arena for our inaugural session.”
