Police investigating the murder of Michael Ababio in Coventry have made another arrest.
A 29-year-old man was arrested at an address in Hillfields on Thursday morning on suspicion of assisting an offender. He has since been released on police bail while the investigation continues.
Four people have so far been charged in connection with Michael’s death, which happened on 22 February near Foleshill Library.
Since then, detectives from West Midlands Police’s homicide unit have been working to gather evidence and speak to witnesses as part of the investigation.
Anyone who saw what happened and has not yet come forward is asked to call 101, quoting log 4185 of 22 February.
West Midlands Police says it takes knife crime and the carrying of weapons seriously, and is urging anyone who knows someone carrying a weapon to report it by calling 101. Reports can also be made online, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
