PEOPLE from across Coventry are being invited to take part in a mass workplace pongathon.

Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Sport (CSW Sport) are encouraging people to join the One Big Thing this Wednesday (October 21) by hosting a workplace ping pong tournament.

With the aim to get as many people as possible – regardless of their age or level of fitness – to come together to take part in something active, the One Big Thing will create a united, healthy, energetic day.

To add to the day, CSW Sport is providing 20 businesses with a free desktop table tennis set.

Tracy Murphy, of CSW Sport, said: “It’s the perfect opportunity for us to build on our Workplace Challenge programme and get more workplaces engaged in sport and trying out new activities.

“Taking part in sports at work is a great way for colleagues to get to know each other better and stay active, as well as instilling a bit of healthy competition and teamwork in the workplace.

“This is why we are offering free desktop table tennis sets to the first 20 businesses which sign up to join the One Big Thing.

“All we ask in return is that businesses pledge to get as many colleagues active as possible and share their experiences on social media.”
