RISING contemporary urban landscape photographers are invited to submit beautiful images of city landmarks for a new Coventry 2021 calendar by next Friday (September 18)

Visit Coventry is calling out for local photography enthusiasts to help capture unique pictures of Coventry which will be used for a limited edition calendar to celebrate it’s year as UK city of Culture with a run of 1,000 to be sold at several retail outlets in the city from November onwards.

Coun Jim O’Boyle, Cabinet Member for Jobs and Regeneration, said: “We know there are a wealth of fantastic photographers out there already taking stunning pictures of Coventry and we’d love to see those images in print, showcasing the best pictures of the city and its talented photographers at the same time!

“2021 is a significant year for Coventry as we celebrate being UK City of Culture and this is an ideal opportunity for those who want to be a part of the celebrations to help create something really special. The calendars will not only be available for local people but to the visitors we will get from all over the world – it really will be a true celebration of the city.”

The photographs submitted can be of any subject anywhere in the city. There is no specific style required, but pictures must be landscape and high quality for print. Creativity is encouraged and the more show-stopping, the better.

Submissions are open until 23:59 on Friday September 18. Photographers who submit their pictures will be given full credit inside the calendar and more information on how to enter can be found on the website at visitcoventry.
