SUPPORTERS of The Myton Hospices are set to fill Coventry with colour as they take part in the charity’s flagship Glow for Myton event.
After a Covid-enforced break, Glow for Myton is back – and promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
To mark the Hospices’ 40th Anniversary the city centre will come alive on the night of Saturday, April 2nd.
Hundreds of fundraisers, dressed head-to-toe in bright colours and covered in neon paint, will step up for the cause and walk, jog, dance or run their way around the 5k course.
Long-time Glow supporters, Crowngate Construction, are sponsoring the event.
Nancy Lillington, events manager at Myton, said: “We promised bigger and better – and that is exactly what participants will get every step of the way.”
Myton wants to raise £40,000 in sponsorship to mark its 40th anniversary.
Louise was just 47 when she died at Coventry Myton Hospice in March 2021, leaving behind her loved ones and friends, including 16-year-old daughter Jessica, 14-year-old son Sam and husband Paul.
Jessica will bravely share her mum’s story at the event so you can hear first-hand the difference your support makes.
Signing up to Glow for Myton is easy and if you take advantage of our Early Bird Discount and register by Tuesday 1st March you will pay just £15 to take part.
Registration will cost £20 per person after this date and £30 on the night.
As well as a great night out in the city, everyone who signs up will get a drawstring bag, Glow for Myton T-shirt, glow sticks and powder paint for the colour throw.
