GOTH-PUNK group Creeper has kick-started the New Year with the announcement that the new-look band will headline at the Kasbah in February.
Following a line-up revamp in 2015, the band – who hail from Southampton – has been gaining momentum since the release of The Callous Heart EP – which has sold-out since its release.
The highly-rated band ended the year on a high with the double announcement that live keyboardist Hannah Greenwood, who played on The Callous Heart, joined the band full-time and guitarist Oliver Burdett has replaced Sina Nemati.
Now, the six-piece is cranking up the volume with the promise of a new EP, The Stranger.
The five-track-release, which will combine melodic punk with punchy choruses, is set to drop next month as the band embark on their first ever headline tour.
The band will headline on Saturday (February 27).
Amarjit Kullar, of the Kasbah, said: “Creeper first rocked the Kasbah in April last year and gave a stellar performance for the crowds.
“The band has already made a big impression on the punk rock scene, boosted by their tours with punk legends The Misfits and their recent signing to Roadrunner Records – the label behind Slipknot.
“Undeniably Creeper is one of the best sounding live bands on the scene and after their last concert at the Kasbah proved such a hit, we are really excited to be bringing them back to the city for a repeat performance.”
Admission for the 14+ show costs £7 and tickets can be bought on the door on the evening or online at www.kasbahnightclub.com
