COVENTRY families struggling through the cost-of-living crisis will be able to grab a free packed lunch at Herald Lodge Care Home.
‘Let’s Do Lunch’ will run Monday to Friday until 1st September with youngsters able to grab a sandwich, fruit, a drink, and other treats.
Parents will be able to reserve a lunch and come to Herald Lodge between 11am and 1.30pm to pick it up.
And the care home is holding a summer holiday club between 10am and midday every Wednesday where children can enjoy arts and crafts and spend time with therapy ponies.
Herald Lodge home manager Gemma Pearcey said: “The summer holidays can feel like a long time for parents and finding activities to keep the kids occupied can quickly become a big expense.
“We hope that our packed lunches and Holiday Club will provide some support and reassurance for families who are wanting to make the most of their time together this summer.”
Call 02476 713 655 or email [email protected] to reserve a packed lunch or book a place at the holiday club.
