MEMBERSHIP of the Green Party in the region is at an all-time high, bosses have said.
A surge of 20 per cent was witnessed between April and June as the party finished ahead of the Lib Dems in the European elections.
And despite not making an impact in the city’s council elections in May, operations director Tom Beckett said the membership rise showed more people wanted real change.
He added: “Members are the lifeblood of the Green Party, a truly democratic party which allows members to help form policy at our spring and autumn conferences.”
