THE GUIDE Dogs Coventry fundraising group is hosting a blindfold banquet at St Mary’s Guildhall to support the charity.
On October 3, the banquet will offer participants a sensory experience where they will dine blindfolded – demonstrating everyday challenged faced by people who are visually impaired.
Fin Findlay, Coventry fundraising group coordinator for Guide Dogs, said: “We are thrilled to host the Blindfold Banquet as part of our commitment to raising awareness about the transformative impact of guide dogs.
“This event not only celebrates the remarkable bond between guide dogs and their owners but also serves as a platform to support Guide Dogs UK in their mission to provide life-changing services to individuals with sight loss.”
Blogger, Lucy Edwards is set to attend the event as a guest speaker – Lucy became the first British blind person to go viral on YouTube for her video: ‘blind girl does her own makeup’.
