SHIMANO UK is running a three day event at its local fishery in Meriden – Packington Somers, Coarse Fishing, Packington Estate – to hopefully introduce people to the fantastic sport of fishing.
Across the three days – August 25, 26 and 27, there will be 90-minute sessions over three fishing categories completely free of charge for anybody to come along and try.
There will be coaching and guidance available from a variety of our sponsored angler teams and goody bags / gifts for people attending.
The scheme will support the Angling Trust and Angling Trade Associations’ National Fishing Month and ‘take a friend fishing’ projects designed to introduce everybody and anybody to the sport, no matter their age, sex, orientation, class, background, ethnicity, or religion.
