Family's heartbreaking tribute to van driver killed in Coventry

THE DEVASTATED family of a van driver who died following a crash with a lorry in Coventry has paid tribute to a ‘caring father and loving husband’.

Karamjit Singh, 37, from Leicester, died in hospital after the collision which took place at around 10.50pm last Tuesday (July 10) on Siskin Parkway East on Middlemarch Industrial Estate, Coventry.

Karamjit’s 11-year-old son Aarondeep said: “We are very upset our dad has gone, I’m absolutely devastated.

“No one can replace my dad and he will remain in our hearts forever.”




His wife Sonia said: “Karamjit was a caring father and a loving husband. He was a hard worker and one with a heart of gold.

“My world has finished, my life has shattered with my Karamjit’s sudden death. No words can describe him, he was my soul mate.


“I’m now left with his memories which shall stay alive in my heart forever. I love you Sodhi.”

Police are continuing to investigate the collision and are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dash cam or CCTV footage to come forward.
