Hog roast to be held to raise funds for St Andrews House kitchen upgrading

A HOG roast and community event is being held at St Andrew’s House in Coventry from 1pm to 4pm on September 17.

St Andrew’s House is a residential home for older people and registered charity which currently needs its 20-year-old kitchen upgrading.

Covid has been especially hard on the home and left the organisation in a position where it has no way of paying for the work itself.

All proceeds raised will go towards the kitchen.

The event will feature a steel band, raffle, games, craft stalls, cake stall and a plant stall.

There will also be a beer tent for the adults and bouncy castle and glitter tattoo stall for children.

Vegetarian options will also be available.

Admission is £10 for adults, £5 for children under 15 with food or £5 for adults, £2.50 for children without food.
