A NEW study conducted by Moneybarn has revealed Coventry as the third cheapest city for parking in the UK.
The study also analysed the amount of NCP parking spaces against licensed cars to reveal Britain’s worst areas for parking.
According to the research, it costs £1.45 per hour on average to park in the city, with attractions including Coventry Cathedral and Midland Air Museum causing car parks to rapidly fill up on weekends.
Coventry is tied for third place with Worthing in the standings.
Chelmsford is the cheapest area, costing £1 per hour on average to park in the city, with Preston finishing second at £1.20 an hour.
Swansea, Wolverhampton, Newport, Colchester, Crawley and Bolton complete the top ten.
