How your sports club can help raise cash for kids in Coventry

Coventry Editorial 7th Sep, 2022   0

FREE Radio charity Cash for Kids will be hoping to help the next generation of Euro top scorers and Commonwealth gold medalists in a competition that aims to bring sporting opportunities to every child in Coventry.

The Cash for Kids sports challenge will be supported by experts to help local sports groups and clubs participating to raise as much as they can in four weeks.

They will keep 100 per cent of the money they have raised at the end of the competition, and an extra £10,000 is available to win.

The cash will be used to enable groups and clubs to welcome young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to take part in their sport.

The money can be used to subsidise membership fees, provide kits, upgrade their facilities or support those with additional needs.

Charlotte Walker from Cash for Kids added; “With the exciting Summer of Sport this year, we’re thrilled that we could be inspiring the next generation of Lionesses and Commonwealth Games superstars through the Cash for Kids Sports Challenge.

“We’ll be there to support the groups and clubs to raise as much as they can, so they won’t be going it alone.”

Groups and clubs have until midday on Monday, September 12 to submit an application.
