POLICE have released an image of a suspect after a bank card was stolen at Coventry’s University Hospital yesterday.
The CCTV image shows the suspect who went on to use the card for purchases at various locations, police say.
A Coventry police spokesperson said: “Do you know this woman? We want to speak to her in relation to a theft that took place at Walsgrave Hospital, Coventry.
“It is believed that a bank card was taken from an unattended purse and later used in transactions at various locations between 7.30am on June 28 and 11am on June 29.
“The woman is described as black, with short black, highlighted hair.
“She was wearing a full length blue dress with distinctive rings on her left hand.
“Anyone with any information or who recognises the woman pictured, is asked to call police on 101 quoting crime reference 200CV/145533H/18.”
