AN INNOVATION summit took place at Coventry Innovation Hub at the University of Warwick Science Park.
The event was organised and hosted by city firm Schneider Electric and saw people descend from across the UK to explore the latest technologies which are supporting the industries of the future.
The summit also included talks and discussions on energy management and retro-fitting, the future of automation and digital transformation.
And there was also a demonstration of Schneider Electric’s Delta Robot for pick and place packaging solutions.
Last week, Schneider Electric became one of the first in the country to adopt a new family-focused employee benefit scheme.
It included 26 weeks maternity, adoption and shared parental leave, four weeks for paternity leave and adoption for the ‘secondary carer’, two weeks carer leave and two weeks bereavement leave if needed – all on full pay.
