RESIDENTS can find out more about how their communities are being kept safer at a free event between 7pm and 9pm on Thursday, November 25, at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

Conversation Coventry, organised by Redeeming Our Communities (ROC), is being held in partnership with West Midlands Police and Assistant Chief Constable Richard Baker will be attending as well as other civic leaders.

There will also be representatives from West Midlands Fire Service, West Midlands Ambulance Service, Coventry City Council and community and faith groups.

Discussions will be held on ways of working together for the good of the community.

Coventry’s City of Culture year will be celebrated and participants can find out about how art and culture play a role in keeping communities safe.

CEO Debra Green OBE said: “We have hosted over 300 Community Conversation events across the UK.

“It’s an opportunity to come together and share ideas which address community needs.

“It’s not all just talk though but talk which leads to action. ROC has 25 years’ experience in bringing communities together.

“We hope to see you on Thursday.”
