Kebbell donates £2,000 to Zoe's Place which has children's hospice in Coventry

EMPLOYEES from Kebbell have raised £2,000 for the Zoe’s Place children’s hospices in Coventry, Middlesbrough and Liverpool after donating some of their earnings.

Zoë’s Place provides palliative, respite and end-of-life-care to babies and infants aged from birth to five years suffering from life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

A further £2,000 went to Padstones to help young people avoid homelessness with supported accommodation.

Andrea Fawell, Kebbell’s sales and marketing director of housebuilders Kebbell said the teams were more than happy to help the two incredible charities working to help vulnerable children and young people through the firm’s Give As You Earn scheme.

“Usually Kebbell would look forward to hosting a lunch to present the cheques in person but sadly because of the pandemic we haven’t been able to do it this year.”

Sara Benson of Zoë’s Place said: “As a charity we have had amazing, continued support from our wonderful friends at Kebbell.

“This support means so much to everyone here, especially at times such as these.

“The recent donation of just over £2,000 as well as the sale of show home items, will make such a difference to us.

“The charity has certainly been impacted by the current pandemic and, after having to shut our doors for five months during the first lockdown – a first in our twenty five year history – we are currently running on a reduced service.

“Our aim, through the incredible continued support of organisations such as Kebbell is to extend our services for our special babies, children and their families who so desperately need the care and support Zoë’s Place provides.”
