KENILWORTH Castle is one of the first English Heritage sites to reopen.
The historic site and gardens will be one of six sites to open from today (Saturday).
Visits must be booked in advance so social distancing can be maintained and a number of health and safety measures are in place. These include staff wearing personal protective equipment, hand sanitiser in use across the site and increased cleaning.
A spokesman said: “Things may be a little different when you visit, but you’ll still be able to enjoy exploring the places where history happened. And you’ll still be given a warm and safe welcome by our friendly staff and volunteers.”
All other sites will reopen by August.
