STUNT riders, a pedal-powered smoothie machine and a host of different bikes of all shapes and sizes were on-hand for people of all ages to enjoy at the city’s annual Cycling Festival.
The public were treated to various displays throughout the day in Broadgate on Saturday including Rollapaluza, which is a unique cycle sport where two riders battle it out on a pair of bikes on rollers accompanied by music.
Dr Bike was also available offering free advice and maintenance and Coventry Cycling Centre were on-hand for those interested in buying a recycled bike.
“Coventry Cycling Festival is a great place to find out about all things cycling including free cycle training, maintenance courses and guided Sky Rides,” said Coun Rachel Lancaster, cabinet member for public services.
“There’s also lots of fun things to watch and have a go at, so it’s a fun day out for the family.”
