Lottery users in Coventry urged to check tickets as £100,000 prize remains unclaimed

NATIONAL LOTTERY players in Coventry are being urged to check their tickets after a ticket with a £100,000 payout has yet to be claimed.

The prize is courtesy of the Lotto Medal Draw, which was held to thank National Lottery players for the support they have given Team GB through playing the lottery.

The additional draw created an extra 67 winners of life changing prizes – 27 prizes of £1million were up for grabs while 23 prizes of £100,000 and 17 prizes of £50,000 were also available.

Made to correspond with the total number of gold, silver and bronze medals Team GB won in Rio, winners have already been enjoying benefits of the life-changing cash – though one Coventry resident is still to claim their prize.

The winning code for the prize on Saturday (August 27) is AQUA 3646 7415 – and the lucky ticket-holder has until February 23 to claim their win.

Should no-one come forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, the money generated will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

Andy Carter, senior winners advisor at The National Lottery, said: “We’re encouraging all players who bought a ticket for the Lotto Medal Draw in Coventry to check their old tickets again.

“Try checking in draws, pockets, wallets and in bottom of handbags – someone out there could literally be carrying around a fortune and not even know it.”

The National Lottery has invested more than £5billion in grassroots sport to date – supporting more than 150 different sports and creating opportunities for everyone to get fit.

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket should email [email protected] or call the National Lottery Line on 0844 338 7551.
