Lucky escape after arson attack on Coventry flat

THERE was a lucky escape when a flat in Coventry was targeted in an arson attack.

Police are investigating the incident which happened in Minster Road.

The front door of the flat in River Court was set alight just after 6am on Wednesday.

Coventry Police have appealed witnesses or anyone with information to call them on 101 or via live chat at

Det Sgt Tom Parker from West Midlands Police CID said: “This was an incredibly dangerous act and risked lives.”
