A woman escaped with just minor injuries despite her car ending up sideways on a concrete barrier following a collision with a lorry.
The collision happened on Ringway Whitefriars section of the ring road near to Coventry University shortly before 3pm on Tuesday. An ambulance and a senior paramedic officer attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Upon arrival ambulance staff found a car which had ended up on its side and facing the wrong way, leaning against the central reservation barrier.
“Thankfully, the driver of the car, a woman in her late teens, escaped with just a minor leg injury. She was assessed and treated on scene but didn’t require hospital treatment. The lorry driver was uninjured.”
