VISITORS to this weekend’s Coventry Motofest could experience the ride of a lifetime with passenger rides in some of the jet-propelled vehicles just one of the prizes on offer as part of a new competition.

Described as an ‘Edinburgh Festival’ for cars, bikes and vehicles, the Motofest will be host to a range of automotive activities from pop-up racing and demonstration events to static displays and fringe events.

And now motoring fans will get the opportunity to get right up close to the action with a passenger ride in one of the competition race cars running on the main ring road spring circuit.

The new competition will also offer a lucky winner the chance to ride on the new short oval circuit and a pair of tickets for a round of the British Truck Racing Championship at Donington Park also up for grabs.

To be in with the chance of winning some of the great prizes mentioned, motorists must simply visit the Motofest Facebook page and like and share the competition post.

James Noble, Coventry Motofest Festival Director, said: “We are excited to announce our new Coventry Motofest competition, which offers the winners the opportunity to get directly involved in the action on the circuit.

“These are fantastic prizes that will give the winners a once-in-a-lifetime experience to feel what it’s like to run on our unique circuits in competition race and drift cars.

“We also have tickets, courtesy of our event partners Donington Park, to enjoy the wonderful spectacle of truck racing and a case of the popular Motofest Multigrade Ale to toast the success of the Motofest event.”
