A Coventry man will appear before magistrates tomorrow (Tuesday December 5) charged with murder.
Police were called to Cavendish Road in Tile Hill around 8.45pm on Friday December 1 where a 68-year-old woman was found with stab injuries. Sadly nothing could be done to save her and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post mortem examination confirmed she died of multiple stab wounds.
Unemployed Thomas Westwood, aged 46, of Rosemary Close, Tile Hill, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with the woman’s murder.
The hearing is set for 10am at Coventry Magistrates Court.
