Man to appear before Coventry magistrates charged with petrol station attack

A MAN accused of attacking a 36-year-old and leaving him in a critical condition with serious head injuries in hospital will appear before Coventry magistrates today (Monday).

Unemployed Marcin Scherer, 41, of Fusiliers Close, Stoke, will appear before the court charged with grievous bodily harm and cannabis production.

Officers were called to a petrol station on Binley Road shortly before 6am on Saturday 12 March following reports of a disturbance.
