A MAN has been arrested after a stabbing in Coventry city centre last night.
The victim – a man in his 30s – was stabbed in the chest during a confrontation with another man in Smithford Way, near West Orchards Shopping Centre, around 9.30pm.
He has been treated in hospital and his condition is not life threatening or life changing.
Neighbourhood officers and response officers provided first aid.
They also quickly seized and examined CCTV which led to them recovering a knife.
The 23-year-old who has been arrested on suspicion of wounding remains in custody.
