A MAN was seriously hurt after an assault in Coventry city centre on Friday.
The attack happened on Gosford Street around 11pm.
The 25-year-old was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition and continues to be treated for his injuries.
A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the assault and charged but police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to come forward.
