A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of being involved in several arson incidents in the Stoke area in recent weeks.
A police officer was on patrol at 4am on Monday (July 17) when he came across a blaze the fire service had just attended on Ansty Road.
A 33-year-old man was detained nearby on suspicion of arson and was further arrested on suspicion of being involved in several other fires following further enquiries.
He has been bailed with strict conditions while investigations continue.
