Man arrested following serious collision in Coventry

A SUSPECT has been arrested following a serious collision in Coventry.

Officers were called to a collision between a pedestrian and a car on Radford Road on Thursday (January 22) at around 9.45pm.

A man in his 50s was injured and taken to hospital with suspected life-changing injuries.

The driver of the vehicle did not stop at the scene.




Following police enquiries, a 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving, failing to stop following a road traffic collision, and failing to report a road traffic collision.
