A MAN was arrested in Coventry in connection with a ‘car cannibalism’ incident in Chelmsley Wood last Tuesday (May 16).
Parts were stolen from a Ford Fiesta while it was parked in Waterson Croft, including the front bonnet, fog lights and number plate.
A 26-year-old man was arrested from a Coventry address today (May 26) following an investigation.
DS Adam Buzzard from the Solihull Crime Team, said: “We don’t underestimate how frustrating and upsetting having your car stolen or stripped of parts can be. We will continue to identify those who commit these crimes and with your help and support, we will bring car thieves to justice.
