A MAN was arrested within minutes of a teenager telling police he’d been robbed in Coventry this morning (April 19).
A 14-year-old boy had his mobile phone snatched on Westmorland Road, Wyken, at just after 8.40am.
Just over 10 minutes later, an 18-year-old man was detained in nearby Clifford Bridge Road on suspicion of robbery.
The man has been taken into custody for questioning and officers found the boy’s mobile phone in grassland.
