A MAN badly injured after robbers drove away in his Transit van – with him clinging to the windscreen – is still fighting for his life more than two weeks on.

Distressing footage had emerged on Facebook showing the man sprawled across the front of the windscreen while it was travelling at high speed.

He can be heard crying out for help as the van approaches a turn in the road.

He was later seen on the ground being helped by passers-by after the van drove off.

Police are still hunting for the thieves and are appealing to the public for information.

They were called to the junction of Caludon Road and Swan Lane just before 1pm on Monday, November 19.

Police later located the burnt out van on Lentons Lane, Coventry.

Detective sergeant Andy Malin from force CID said at the time: “A man who was just going about his daily job has been left seriously injured and it’s important that we find who is responsible as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information should get in touch with police via Live Chat at www.west-midlands.police.uk between 8am and midnight, call 101 any time, or ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting log number 1040 from November 19.
