A MAN has been charged with wounding with intent to cause GBH and possessing an offensive weapon after another man was injured in an axe attack in the city centre on Tuesday evening.
The 27-year-old will appear in court later this month.
Coventry Police thanked everyone who came to the aid of the 30-year-old who was injured before he was taken to hospital.
One man used his belt to give first aid to the victim.
