A MAN has been charged after a sawn-off shotgun and ammunition were seized in Coventry.
Police made the discovery after searching an address on Glenmore Drive, Longford, yesterday afternoon (April 28).
A warrant was executed after officers found a baton and baseball bat in a car they stopped on Swan Lane during the early hours of the morning.
Douglas Wellington has now been charged with possessing offensive weapons and ammunition.
The 61-year-old was remanded to appear before Coventry Magistrates Court today.
