A MAN has been charged with multiple offences after two incidents in Bulkington.
Jakob Walpole, 32, of School Road, has been charged in relation to two reported assaults that occurred in Bulkington on the evening of Saturday.
The first occurred at St James’ Gardens in Bulkington and saw officers called to a report of an assault in a house.
That incident saw an elderly man taken to hospital, where he remains at this time.
The second incident happened at Bulkington Working Men’s Club and occurred later that evening.
Walpole is alleged to have assaulted a customer and a member of staff at the club.
He was arrested that night in connection with both of those incidents and subsequently charged with several offences. These include – Section 18 GBH with intent, assault ABH, possession of an offensive weapon, common assault by beating and breaching a restraining order.
Walpole appeared in Coventry Magistrates Court and has been remanded in custody ahead of his next court appearance on December 23.
