COUNTER-terror cops have charged a 49-year-old man with terrorism offences.
Paul Newey, from Solihull, is set to appear before Westminster Magistrates on 14 February charged with funding terrorism.
He was arrested in December 2019 under section 17 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
It was reported that Mr Newey had sent money to his son in Syria, who was allegedly fighting ISIS with Kurdish militia.
