POLICE have charged a 21-year-old man with the murder of a city toddler.
Two-year-old Khaleel Hussain died at Birmingham Children’s Hospital on October 22 last year. He was transferred there from University Hospital Coventry the previous day having suffered a serious head injury at his Richmond Street home.
Keith Brown of Swan Lane, Stoke, is due before Coventry Magistrates today (Wednesday, October 1).
The charge came after Samina Kauser, aged 24, of Richmond Street, appeared before the same court earlier this morning (Wednesday, October 1) charged with neglect and allowing Khaleel’s death. She was was released on conditional court bail following her appearance.
